Make sure that you have installed and activated the Classic Widgets plugin if you want to use the built-in theme widgets
To manage widgets and sidebars, navigate to Appearance > Widgets
This theme has 9 widget areas, you can drag any widget from the left side into any widget area.
Two custom widgets come with this theme (may increase with updates)

To add Google AdSense or other advertisement codes into any widget area or sidebar. Use the Custom HTML widget and drag it into the sidebar or click on it to expand the sidebar locations and choose from below
Add your advertisement code and click on Save
