# Sidebars & Widgets

### Requirements

Make sure that you have installed and activated the Classic Widgets plugin if you want to use the built-in theme widgets

### Widget Areas

To manage widgets and sidebars, navigate to **Appearance > Widgets**

This theme has 10 widget areas, you can drag any widget from the left side into any widget area.&#x20;

Five custom widgets come with this theme (may increase with updates)

* UPRESS - Latest Posts
* UPRESS - Popular Posts
* UPRESS - Popular Videos
* UPRESS - Prayer Times
* UPRESS - Weather Widget

### Advertisements

To add Google AdSense or other advertisement codes into any widget area or sidebar. Use the Custom HTML widget and drag it into the sidebar or click on it to expand the sidebar locations and choose from below

Add your advertisement code and click on Save&#x20;

You can also place advertisement widgets within the header promotional banner area for better visibility and engagement.
