Carousel

The Posts Carousel widget lets you display blog posts inside a responsive carousel with customizable layouts, typography, and query options. It supports autoplay, navigation, and styling for each elem

🔹 Content Tab

Layout

  • Widget Heading Toggle to show or hide a heading above the carousel.

    • Widget Heading Text: Add a custom title for the carousel section.

  • Posts Per Page Set how many posts to display in the carousel.

  • Order By & Order Choose the sorting criteria (Date, Title, Random, etc.) and order (ASC / DESC).

  • Post Term Show or hide the category/taxonomy labels on posts.

    • Term Style: Customize background and text color.

  • Post Meta Toggle to show/hide meta details such as author, date, and comments.

  • Post Excerpt Toggle to show/hide excerpts with customizable length.


  • Autoplay

    • Enable/Disable automatic sliding.

    • Autoplay Speed: Define the interval between slides (e.g., 3000ms).

  • Loop Choose whether the carousel should loop infinitely.

  • Navigation

    • Show/Hide arrows.

    • Show/Hide dots (pagination indicators).


🔹 Query

Control which posts are displayed in the carousel.

  • Source: Select Post Type (Posts, Pages, Custom Post Types).

  • Include/Exclude by: Categories, Tags, or specific Post IDs.

  • Offset: Skip a number of posts.


🔹 Style Tab

Title

  • Normal & Hover Colors.

  • Typography (font family, size, weight, line height, spacing).

Meta

  • Customize text color, hover color, and typography for author, date, and comments.

Excerpt

  • Set color and typography for the excerpt text.

Category Label

  • Background color.

  • Text color.

  • Border radius (for pill-style labels).

  • Arrows: size, color, background.

  • Dots: size, active/inactive colors.
