# Footer Widgets

**Navigation:** *Customizer → Typography → Footer Widgets*

### Widget Headings

Style the titles of footer widgets (e.g., "Recent Posts", "Contact Info").

* **Font Family** – Choose from the available fonts.
* **Font Variant** – Select weight/style like regular, bold, italic.
* **Font Size** – Set in px, em, or rem.
* **Font Color** – Pick the color via color picker.
* **Text Align** – Align heading text (e.g., Left, Center, Right).
* **Text Transform** – Choose uppercase, lowercase, capitalize, or none.
* **Text Decoration** – Add underline or similar styling (if desired).
* **Line Height** – Increase spacing between lines for readability.
* **Letter Spacing** – Control space between each character.

### Widget Content

Customize the appearance of the actual widget content (e.g., list items, descriptions):

* Same controls as “Widget Headings” — choose font family, size, color, alignment, and spacing.

### How Font Selection Works 

When you open the Typography control in the Customizer:

1. **Font Family Dropdown** – Lists available fonts, including Google Fonts and system fonts.
2. **Live Preview** – As you change values (font family, size, etc.), you can see updates in real time.
3. **Performance Optimization** – Only activated fonts are loaded on your site, ensuring speed and efficiency.
4. **Single Panel Experience** – Kirki groups all typography options (font, size, spacing, color, alignment) into one clean control view.

#### Tip

To keep your footer looking cohesive and clean:

* Use contrasting font sizes—larger for headings, smaller for content.
* Choose consistent colors that complement your site’s overall palette.
